Already introduced in its first version the May 20th 2006, during the VI Meeting Club Panerai, now we officially show you the second version (2009) of the watch
MMT500-O.P.V.™
(Marina Militare Tested 500 metres-Officine Panzeri Viareggio)
the first waterproof and individually tested 500 metres (50 atm) watch, now supplied, like technical equipment, to the Underwater Men and to the Commandos Unit -Com. Sub. In.- of the Italian Navy -Marina Militare- (as result according the second official agreement no. 15275 of the December, 16th 2008), after having passed hard tests, requested by the same Italian Navy.
The MMT500-O.P.V. is authorized to the operative use at the maximum depth allowed according now the technical equipment of the -Com. Sub. In.-, i. e. the Commandos Unit of the Italian Navy (Marina Militare).
Produced in few units per year (about 200) for the civilian market, now you can have one of them, so join us and wear the new MMT500-O.P.V!
Prices: Euro 1,100.00 (44mm polished steel case) or Euro 1,200.00 (44mm Pvd black steel case, -Com.Sub.In.- Ed.), included the shipping fees by international courier.
For the 160th Anniversary of the Italian Navy'S Helmet Divers School (1849-2009), the 24th July 2009 has been introduced the Limited Edition called -Palombari- (Helmet Divers), issued in 160 units and reserved only to the Helmet Divers equipped with the italian military patenting. The watch, with buckle-case back, crown and dial personalized, is equipped with three straps (military kenvas-kevlar and shark) and a parchment with the number of the military commission of the Helmet and Scuba Diver, assignee of the watch.
